Based on a popular novel, this martial arts fantasy stars Ti Lung as a crippled and epileptic swordsman named Fu raised to be a killer by his mother so that he might exact revenge on those responsible for the murder of his family. When he meets up with the freewheeling swordsman for hire Yip, the two team up to fight a tyrannical village ruler who may or may not be the man Fu is after.
