Arlette Rosen, a New York book doctor, takes on the task of helping a tax lawyer named Harbinger Singh write a roman a clef about his ex-wife. Arlette herself is in an unsatisfying relationship. As the two work together on the book, Harbinger finds himself learning and changing--to the point where he may be able to persuade his ex (whom he still adores) to reunite. And Arlette realizes that her life could use some tinkering too. Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. For personal use only. All rights reserved.
