Yerma ('Barren') is a tragic play by the Spanish playwright and poet Federico García Lorca. It was written in 1934, and first performed the same year.

Yerma is an opera in three acts by Heitor Villa-Lobos to a Spanish libretto by the composer. Villa-Lobos based his libretto on the play by Federico García Lorca also called Yerma.
